JIS marking system is used in various products.
JIS marking system is a third-party certification system based on the Industrial Standardization Law. By using this certification system, manufacturers are able to display JIS marking on their products.
A certification body registered to the national government reviews the following points to confirm that it conforms to JIS.
・Manufacturer’s quality control system
・Product testing (confirming that product qualities, etc. conform to JIS standards)
