Hydrogen is expected to be a clean energy source that does not emit CO2. When hydrogen is made into a liquid, its volume is reduced by a factor of 800. This reduction in volume increases the efficiency of hydrogen storage and makes it possible to supply more hydrogen. Various improvements are being undertaken around the world to utilize hydrogen in society’s infrastructure.

Features
Liquid hydrogen is stored in special tanks because of its extremely low temperature of -253°C. Our thermometers are used to measure the temperature of the inside of these special tanks and surrounding piping. We can calibrate temperatures in the -253°C temperature range by applying the JCSS temperature calibration (-196°C) and other technologies we have cultivated, and we have a dedicated temperature table for special resistance thermometers. We also provide special sheathed thermocouples that ensure reliable accuracy even in the -253°C temperature range.
