What is YAMARI INDUSTRIES, LIMITED ?

“We are sincere and contribute to society through our business.”

Our company started with the import and sale of thermocouple wires, and today we have grown into a sensor manufacturer responsible for the traceability of temperature standards based on the Measurement Law. The evolution of temperature sensors which are our main products that have supported our growth, has been nurtured by customer needs for temperature measurement in various production processes and research and development from cryogenic to ultra-high temperatures.

Over time, temperature measurement technology continues to evolve from analog to digital, and further to ultra-compact temperature sensors using MEMS technology. Based on our business philosophy, we will strive to further advance sensor technology and improve the measurement accuracy of temperature sensors by JCSS (Japan Calibration Service System), and we would like to continue to accurately convey temperature from the field to our customers from now on.

This website mainly introduces our product groups and services related to temperature sensors. Please feel free to contact us about temperature and calibration.

Introduction of our developed products and overseas handled products.

Thermocouple

These temperature sensors are widely used for industrial temperature measurement from low to ultra-high temperatures using precious and base metal wires.
We manufacture one by one products for various applications, such as general industrial thermocouples and explosion-proof thermocouples used in hazardous locations.

Resistance Temperature Detector (RTD)

RTD is a temperature sensor widely used for high-precision industrial temperature measurement, ranging from ultra-low temperatures to high temperatures, utilizing the characteristic of the electrical resistance of a meatal wire changing with temperature. We manufacture one by one products for various applications, such as general industrial RTD and explosion-proof RTD used in hazardous locations.

Temperature Calibration Device

Calibration device performing calibration tests of various temperature sensors and radiation thermometers. (Manufactured by ISOTECH in the UK).
A wide range of models are available, from primary calibration laboratory models for professional use to industrial models for practical use.

Accessories for Temperature sensors

Various accessories for thermocouples and RTD are available.

Heaters

Including electric heaters widely used for industrial heating, we design and manufacture various types of heaters using special heater elements for various heating equipment applications, such as for vacuum and semiconductor industries.

Radiation Thermometers / Thermal Imaging

Non-contact temperature measurement has many excellent features, such as the ability to measure the temperature of objects that are quickly in operation, can measure high temperatures, and do not damage materials.
We have various types of radiation thermometers for measuring temperatures using this method, as well as blackbody furnaces and testing furnaces for calibrating these instruments.

Introducing Various YAMARI INDUSTRIES, LIMITED R&D Products and Overseas Handled Products utilizing Unique Sensing Technology

Temperature Sensors for LNG Tanks

High accuracy and durability are required for thermocouples and RTD used in LNG storage tanks.
In particular, the inside of tanks must be controlled at -162℃ with ±0.1℃. Our production, designed with accumulated technical expertise over the years, contributed to safe operations.

Sheathed Thermocouples for Fuel Cells

In response to the society demand for reducing CO2 emissions and realizing a low-carbon society by supplying stable-quality fuel cells, we have quickly started production of thermocouples for fuel cells using our unique automated manufacturing line.
The newly developed K thermocouples has excellent stability under high temperature and reducing atmosphere, and its compact size and high insulation property by resin molded sleeve are widely used in devices such as household fuel cells.

Aluminum Sensor for CGL

Aluminum sensors are used in the manufacturing process of automotive hot-dip galvanized steel sheets in Continuous Galvanizing Lines (CGL). Various quality factors of the galvanized coating are determined by the aluminum concentration in the molten zinc bath.
We have devised a molten salt electrolyte that can handle aluminum concentration sensing like a solid electrolyte, and obtained international patents. With the fiscal support of a subsidy from the Ministry of international Trade and Industry (Currently Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry) in year 1991, we successfully commercialized the world’s first aluminum concentration sensor for molten zinc baths.
The international patent and manufacturing rights were temporarily transferred to Canadian zinc ingot manufacturer, but we have now resumed production at our company.

METAL-OX Oxygen Probe for Molten Copper

METAL-OX is an oxygen probe based on the principle of an oxygen concentration cell using zirconia solid electrolyte.
It was jointly developed with a domestic copper wire manufacturer in the mid-1970s and has been used for over 40 years for continuous measurement if oxygen concentration in tough pitch copper or deoxidized copper before deoxygenation. It is an indispensable probe for quality control in Japanese wire manufacturing.

For Nuclear Power Plants

This sensor is used to measure the water level and water temperature in pits where spent fuel rods from nuclear power plants are stored.
It is a crucial product used to ensure safely during emergencies, disasters, and accidents to maintain the integrity of the spent fuel rods.

Combination Thermometer

This is a composite sensor used for performance of gas turbines used in aircraft, ships, and other applications.
It verifies the performance of gas turbines by measuring temperature and pressure at multiple points.
Our company supplies precision-machined products utilizing 3D CAD technology and our extensive experience in temperature sensor technology.

Composite Type Thermocouple

For high-temperature measurements, precious metal thermocouple are typically used, however, there have been cost issues with the material.
Therefore, we have developed and proposed a composite type thermocouple that combines metal thermocouples.
We have abundant delivery records in the field of exhaust gas temperature at high-temperature combustion sites.

Heater for Fly Ash Heating and Dechlorination System

This is a large-scale heating furnace designed to remove harmful dioxins from fly ash.
It is currently in operation in approximately 50 locations in Japan, effectively preventing the generation of dioxins from fly ash.

Validation System

This system is a product that systematically verifies that various types of pharmaceutical equipment and materials are being processed at appropriate temperatures, including verification (Validation) of the temperature distribution of sterilization equipment.
Our company conducts traceability of reference thermometers, and the recorded data is protected against tempering and objectively recognized (In compliance with FDA regulation 21 CFR Part 11)

Radiation Thermometers

Our company offers German IMPAC two-color radiation thermometers that can measure temperatures from low (300℃) to high (3300℃) range with high accuracy (0.4-0.7% of measured value) and simultaneous color TV imaging capability.
We also provide a diverse lineup of general radiation thermometers, including specialized models for measuring combustion gas CO2 temperatures.

Temperature Measurement Cable for Silos

Our temperature measurement cable is designed for use in silos with coal, biomass fuel, and other materials, and excellent resistance to shock, tensile force, bending, and other loads, preventing breakage of temperature measurement sensors.
It also has high heat resistance, making it an ideal temperature sensor for monitoring various temperatures inside silos.
