M.I cable
M.I cables are made by inserting a thermocouple wire into a stainless-steel or other metallic tube (sheath) and compressing and filling it with magnesium-oxide or other inorganic insulating material.
It is durable even in high temperatures exceeding 1000℃ or in corrosive environments.
Inorganic insulating materials hardly reduce accuracy and are protected by metal tubes, so it is also highly safe under sudden fires and high-temperature exposure, and is economical with a long life.
