The BB660/25.5 and BB(S)962/2.5 are single-coil standard platinum resistance thermometers developed and commercialized as interpolation instruments for The International Temperature Scale of 1990 (ITS-90) through joint research with the National Metrology Institute of Japan (NMIJ) of the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST).
Single-coil standard platinum resistance thermometers have many features and advantages, such as a simple structure, low processing distortion during assembly, excellent vibration resistance, low self-heating, and good response characteristics.

・The BB660/25.5 utilizes a new temperature sensing structure, taking advantage of the characteristics of the single coil type to improve stability at high temperatures and reduce costs.(registered trademark No. 3380523).
・The BB(S)962/2.5 uses single crystal sapphire for the protective tube and temperature sensor winding frame, which improves gas tightness and insulation properties and increases stability under high temperatures.
