Response time

The response time of the radiation thermometer is the time it takes for the indicated value to reach the temperature of the object to be measured when the shutter is removed quickly with infrared energy from the object to be measured cut off by a shutter or the like.

Precision is defined as the time to reach 90% on the assumption that the reading to reach is 100%. This is referred to as t90.
This section takes IN5+ as an example. Response-time of IN5 + is t90=80msec at the earliest setting. The following diagram shows a sample reply for t90=80msec and 0.5sec.

The readings can be easily read by increasing the response-time, such as 0.5sec, 1sec, 2sec, depending on the parameter setting.
